FROSIN 50XF is a liquid and highly fortified rosin size which yields excellent size property on wide range of paper grades. It is delivered at 50% solid and designed to offer the customer all the handling and storage benefits. Compare with ordinary rosin size, it has advantages asfollows:
- Soluble in cold water, easy diluted to aslow as 5%solid.
- Low viscosity for easy of handling.
- Can bestorage in most type of storage.
- More efficient due its high uniform sizing effect.
APPLICATION:
FROSIN 50XF is best used in the stock with the range of pH 4.0 – 5.5. Under normal condition, the dosing rate is between 0.4% to 3% ( depending on paper grade ) of air dry fiber stock. In order to achieve a quick and smooth solution, FROSIN 50XF should be diluted to 1 to 10% solution with water. The diluted product can be dosed into the mixing chest or inlet fan pump, before or after addition of aluminium sulfate.
