INDOSTRENGTH D20/C is a cationic resin product specifically designedfor the paper industry to impart drystrength to a variety of paper grades(including tissue, linerboardandfluting) to enhance properties such asburst, tensile, and flatcrush (Concora). The performance of INDOSTRENGTH D20/C , unlike starch basedstrength agents, does not level off at higher dosages, thusenabling manufacture of a paper at amuch higher level of strength. The product is compatible with modified starches but works well by itself thereby reducing BOD loading of the mill with the reduction or elimination of starch. INDOSTRENGTH D20/C is environmentally friendly and there is no problemsencountered with repulping papers addedwith the product.
Brightness is oftenimproved in the caseof white papers, while in colored papers both uniformity andbrightnessare improved.
APPLICATIONS:
INDOSTRENGTH D20/C should be added to the stock at a point where good mixing is assured(e.g. machine chest) in order to fully dispersed in the pulp slurry. INDOSTRENGTH D20/C could also be addedin theheadbox or fan pumpto obtain higher freeness. Dosage depend requirement of strength but recommended 0.5 – 2% per tondry paper.
