INDOSTRENGTH D15/C is a cationic resin product specifically designed for the paper industry to impart drystrength to a variety of paper grades (including tissue, linerboard and fluting) to enhanceproperties such as burst, tensile, and flatcrush(Concora). The performance of INDOSTRENGTH D15/C , unlike starch basedstrength agents, doesnot level off at higher dosages, thus enabling manufacture of a paper at a much higher level of strength. The product is compatible with modified starchesbut works well byitself thereby reducing BOD loading of themill with the reduction or elimination of starch. INDOSTRENGTH D15/C is environmentally friendly andthere is noproblems encountered with repulping papers added with theproduct.
Brightness is oftenimproved in the caseof white papers, while in colored papers both uniformity andbrightnessare improved.
APPLICATIONS:
INDOSTRENGTH D15/C should beadded to the stockat a point where good mixing is assured (e.g. machine chest) in order to fully dispersed in thepulp slurry. INDOSTRENGTHD15/C could also be addedin the headboxor fan pumpto obtain higher freeness. Dosage dependrequirement of strength but recommended 0.5- 2% per ton dry paper.
