APPLICATION

INDOFLOC AF-771 must be dissolved in water through the use of polymer eductor to prevent gel formation. Solution concentration should be kept at 0.05-0.15% with tap water making use of suitable mixer preferably at 300-500 rpm.
INDOFLOC AF-771 should be applied in an ideal feedpoint such as inlet flume of the clarifier or thickener. INDOFLOC AF-771 solution concentration can be further reduced before injection to the system through the use of dilution water and static mixer to provide maximum distribution/contact to the slurry solids.

Preferable metering pumps to be used should be screw type. Optimum dosage will depend on degree of waste contamination, but typical dosage can range from 0.5 – 4.0 ppm. Carbon steel and stainless steel tanks and pumps may be used. Galvanized metals and natural or synthetic rubber should be avoided. Teflon or other inert materials should be used for gaskets and pump seals.
