FROSIN 65 is a paste and highly fortified rosin size which yields excellent size property on wide range of paper grades. It is delivered at 65% solid and designed to offer the customer all the handling and storage benefits. Compare with ordinary rosin size, it hasadvantages asfollows:
- Easyhandling – smoothly saponified and easily dissolved in warm water ( ± 60°C )
- Can bestorage in most type of storage.
- More efficient due its high uniform sizing effect.
APPLICATION:
FROSIN 65 is best used in the stock with the range of pH 4.0 – 5.5. Under normal condition, the dosing rate is between 0.4% to 3% ( depending on paper grade ) of air dry fiber stock. In order to achieve a quick and smooth solution, FROSIN 65 should be diluted to 1 to 12.5% solution with warm / cold water and agitation. The diluted product can be dosed into the mixing chest or inlet fan pump, before or after addition of aluminium sulfate.
